IT ALL STARTS WITH THE FAMILY

“As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live” - this quote perfectly describes the story behind our new product.

The inspiration to start developing “Noble Nettle” functional food came from inside our family: the founder of the company Irina was helping her mother to collect the young nettle buds growing around the garden in Tamara Lakeside Tourism Resort, which was later used to prepare nettle soup and making salad by traditional recipes. Irina’s mother - Tamara also told stories of how and why during her childhood, using nettle and other wild herbs as food was common in Northern and Eastern Europe after the Second World War. It was scarce and people struggled to get adequate amounts of nutrition and vitamins during hardship. They choose stinging nettle as the most valuable among widespread herbs.

Hearing these stories made us think about how to bring nettle back to our plates and how to re-design traditional medicine plant into modern food!
